In this body of work, I bridge the digital and the handmade, using embroidery as both a drawing tool and a meditative practice. The series explores layered environments where personal and collective journey through nature intersect, overlap, and communicate with one another.
At the heart of the work is an exploration of women’s intimate relationship with the natural world. Through hand-stitching, layered imagery, and drawn elements, I examine the reciprocal exchange between human presence and nature—spaces where care, attention, and passion move freely in both directions. Each piece reflects the act of nurturing while also acknowledging the ways nature sustains, restores, and transforms us in return. Engaging with nature becomes not an act of control, but an ongoing conversation.
By layering thread over imagery and mark-making, I create visual spaces where structure and spontaneity coexist. This mirrors the rhythms of nature itself: interconnected, evolving, and alive. The resulting works are intimate and contemplative, celebrating women’s presence within the world as attentive, generous, and transformative forces.
